The American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC-FL)’s Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) recognizes Florida engineering firms for outstanding contributions to the consulting engineering profession. This year, eight Grand and seven Honor awards will be presented at the 2022 ACEC-FL Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet being held February 18, 2022, at The JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. WGI was selected by ACEC-FL to receive the EEA Grand Award for the Turnpike Widening from Osceola Parkway to Beachline Expressway project in the category: Transportation. WGI was also selected to receive the Award of Honor for the Ike Smart City Project in the category: Building/Technology Systems - Computer Technology. WGI is honored to be the only firm designated by ACEC-FL to receive two awards in 2022. Both the Ike Smart City and Turnpike Widening from Osceola Parkway to Beachline Expressway project reflect WGI's demonstrated history of disrupting the industry with our investments in tomorrow’s technology as well as the professionals to leverage that technology.
