Suicide Prevention in Parking Facilities Presentation with Raymond Smith and Justin Thomson

Did you know that over 50% of parking organizations have experienced a suicide or attempted suicide at one of their facilities? (2016 IPMI Survey). As one of the leading causes of deaths in the United States, suicides and attempts are a serious challenge that parking structure owners and operators need to be aware of. As part of our Lunch & Learn Webinar Series, WGI's Raymond Smith and Justin Thomson recently discussed what building developers, owners, and operators need to consider about their facilities, and the strategies to discourage and prevent suicide attempts in their parking structures. They also reviewed current best practices and looked at some case studies of actual projects that WGI has been involved in. If you missed the live webinar on November 12th, 2020, you can watch the embedded video below or on our YouTube Channel. [embed]https://youtu.be/TRbebQ8HABo[/embed]
