As we enter the final quarter of 2025, I’m proud to reflect on the remarkable momentum WGI has built and the impact we continue to make across the nation. This past quarter demonstrated how our people, expertise, and culture of innovation are driving meaningful change in the communities we serve. From shaping public policy to securing major transportation contracts, earning national recognition, and expanding our geographic footprint, the third quarter is a powerful reminder of the role WGI plays in shaping the future of infrastructure.
We began the quarter by leading important conversations around how municipalities can balance growth with fiscal responsibility. Vice Presidents Russell Yeager, PE, and Melissa McKinlay hosted a client webinar on zoning, fees, and revenue strategies, helping decision-makers across Texas understand how to modernize revenue models without stifling development. Their efforts reinforced WGI’s reputation as a trusted voice in planning and policy at a time when growth pressures demand fresh perspectives and practical solutions.
Our thought leadership extended beyond policy discussions with the release of the 2025 Parking Structure Cost Outlook, one of the industry’s most relied-upon resources for analyzing construction costs and market trends. Downloaded thousands of times each year, this publication provides clarity and foresight at a time when stakeholders face uncertainty, once again cementing WGI’s role as a reliable source of intelligence and innovation for developers, municipalities, and institutions across the country. We also published a whitepaper on alternative delivery methods, offering agencies practical guidance on accelerating schedules and managing risks—yet another example of how WGI combines technical excellence with forward-looking insight to shape national conversations.
Our technical capabilities and investments in innovation paid off in a major way this quarter as our award-winning Geospatial Team secured several significant Department of Transportation contracts, some of the largest in WGI’s history. These wins affirm our standing as the go-to geospatial partner for agencies building safer, more intelligent, and more resilient transportation networks, validating years of commitment to recruiting top talent, advancing training programs, and deploying cutting-edge technology.
We also grew our physical presence with the expansion of our operations in Chicago, positioning WGI to deliver the same multidisciplinary expertise that has made us a trusted partner in the Southeast to clients throughout the Midwest. Establishing a stronger presence in this key market underscores our long-term commitment to accessibility, engagement, and local impact.
The quarter concluded with achievements that speak to the quality of our work and the caliber of our team. Our Florida State Road 821 project team earned a 2025 ACEC National Recognition Award, one of the most prestigious honors in the engineering profession, signaling to clients and peers alike that WGI stands among the very best in the profession. At the same time, our Corporate Program Manager, Coriann Salas, was named President of ACEC-Florida for the 2025–2026 term, reflecting the leadership, dedication, and professional excellence that define WGI at every level.
Taken together, these milestones illustrate a clear trajectory for our firm. We are influencing the conversations that matter, delivering results that earn national trust, and cultivating leaders who will shape the future of our profession. As we close out the year, our focus remains on translating this momentum into even greater impact—addressing today’s challenges while anticipating tomorrow’s opportunities. Together with our clients and partners, we are building not just projects, but stronger, smarter, and more resilient communities for generations to come.
