WGI Welcomes Six New Associates

Kirt M. Andersen, P.E.

Kirt Andersen joined WGI's Civil Engineering Department as a Senior Project Manager in its Tampa office. Kirt comes to WGI with over 27 years of experience with specific expertise in the design of preliminary site planning to final detailed civil engineering construction plans of the infrastructure to support project development.

Kirt supervises, conducts and reviews design evaluations, and implements management systems. He is a professional engineer in Florida, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Kirt began as a construction surveyor for the U.S. Army Reserve while he was pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree.

Christian Pupo

Christian Pupo joined WGI's Architecture Division as a Graduate Architect in its Tampa office.

Christian comes to WGI with over two years of experience with specific expertise in high end residential architecture. Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Boston Architectural College.

Christian Cardoza

Christian Cardoza joined WGI's Transportation Division as a Drainage/Roadway Engineer in its Orlando office. Christian comes to WGI with over seven months of WGI internship experience with specific expertise in generating construction plans using Microstation/GEOPAK, performing construction quantity estimates, assisting in the creation of engineering documents including typical section packages, and pond siting reports.

Christian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Kristen Nowicki, AICP

Kristen Nowicki joined WGI's Planning Division as a Senior Project Manager in its Fort Lauderdale office. Kristen comes to WGI with over 19 years of experience with expertise in local government planning and zoning, private development, community redevelopment areas, comprehensive plans, and land development regulations.

Kristen is a Certified Planner and holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, both from the University of Florida. Kristen is Chair of the American Planning Association - Broward Section.

Khizer Zaman, E.I.

Khizer Zaman joined WGI's Transportation Division as an Engineer Intern in its Jacksonville office. Khizer comes to WGI with about two years of experience with specific expertise in water resources developing hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) stormwater models using ArcGIS and ICPR.

Khizer is a registered EI and a LEED Green Associate. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Florida International University and is an active member of Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Erin Sandoval

Erin Sandoval joined WGI's Land Development Division as a Graduate Engineer in its San Antonio office.

Erin comes to WGI with over seven months of WGI internship experience. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
