Event Recap: Texas Water 2025

From March 18th - 21st, our San Antonio team at WGI attended the Texas Water 2025 Conference at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas! As the largest regional gathering for the water and wastewater industry in the U.S., this year’s conference was extra special as it celebrated its 30th anniversary, drawing more than 7,000 industry professionals from across the nation.

A Hub of Innovation and Connection

Texas Water 2025, sponsored by the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) and the Texas American Water Works Association (TAWWA), provided a key opportunity for water sector professionals to gather, learn, and collaborate. The conference featured a series of exciting technical sessions, and WGI’s team took part in discussions on cutting-edge topics, including AI-powered predictions for sewer overflows, GIS solutions for managing infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making for municipalities.

WGI’s Active Role

WGI’s team was engaged throughout the conference, attending a range of technical sessions and connecting with other professionals from across our field.
Some of our associates participated in the YP-exclusive breakfast and committee meetings, making valuable contacts and exploring leadership opportunities within WEAT and TAWWA. Meanwhile, other team members focused on networking with municipalities, consultants, and other key industry professionals to discuss upcoming projects and industry trends.
